Bon appétit !
Food prepared by children enrolled in Cynthia Wildridge’s French Food class, Summer 2017

The French are world-famous for their food — both for the way they prepare it, and for their love of eating it. We’ll do both!

We’ll learn some French as we practice measuring, reading a recipe, and learning techniques.

See the incredible food designs created by Antonin Carême, the father of French cuisine and Chef of the Kings!

We’ll set the table à la française and practice French table manners as we cook, bake and taste French foods. Bon appétit!

[Note: Those with allergies to eggs, dairy, wheat and nuts may not be able to eat some of the foods we will prepare in this class.]

This course, created and taught by Cynthia Wildridge in 2017, was offered to students at The Lamplighter School in Dallas during a week-long summer camp.

Camp duration:  18 hours
