Jumping down the rabbit hole!
A full decade ago, a marketing guru encouraged me to start blogging.
The term had just been coined; the concept scarcely existed.
I resisted.
I’ve now enlisted.
My Writing Process Blog Tour
Though privacy is no less sacred to me today than it was a decade ago, I have been motivated to join the intriguing “My Writing Process Blog Tour” that has already gathered insight from scores of gifted writers across the globe, talking about their creative process and what inspires them.
Thank you to author/illustrator Anastasia Kierst, who wrote so eloquently about her own passions and processes before passing the torch to me. You can read about and view Anastasia’s artistry on her website, Eternal Summers Press.
It was children’s author and photographer Muffet Frische who connected these two writers with her own post for the tour. Congratulations to Muffet, whose first picture book has just been published! Find out more about Miss Muffet and Bitsy and other works in progress at Ten Story Books.
Patricia Vermillion is a children’s author and librarian who drew these authors together through the SCBWI Critique Group that she founded and hosts in Dallas, Texas.
Patricia’s first picture book, Texas Chili? Oh my!, was published last fall by Texas Christian University Press, and her second work is already scheduled for publication.
Patricia will write about her own creative process on the June 16, 2014 stop of the My Writing Process blog tour.
In the meantime, I’ll be back next Monday, June 9th with words on what inspires me, and how I approach my work.
A lundi !
