NOLA’s Turning 300 . . . and Bun E. Boniface® is Coming to Town!
Louisiana may have been discovered by the Spanish, but the City of New Orleans was founded by the French. NOLA turns 300 in 2018, and Bun E. Boniface® is coming to town to celebrate!
Fun for the Kids at The French Library!
On Saturday afternoon, August 25th, author Cynthia Wildridge will join Bun E. Boniface at The French Library in New Orleans for a bilingual reading of Bun E. Learns to Count in French (Bun E. apprend à compter).
It will be lots of fun for the kids, as Bun E. always brings a rich variety of visual aids along with him.
Music! Singing!
In addition to singing the Bun E. song en français, we will sing Joyeux Anniversaire à la Nouvelle-Orléans !
Craft and Workshop
Following our bilingual reading and singing, we’ll move to the craft area of this lovely bookstore for even more fun with paper and glue! This should provide lots of great photo ops for parents and friends.
You won’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate this birthday in beautiful French elegance, as NOLA only turns 300 once!
